- Download every game since 2021 (scores, spread, total, cover and over/under result, roof): nfl-ats-games.csv. Team and situation totals: ats_summary.json.
- In the CSV, home_spread is the home team's spread: -3.5 means the home team is favored by 3.5 and +3.5 means it is a 3.5-point underdog. ats_winner is the team that covered, or PUSH.

What is counted
- Every regular-season NFL game since 2021 that has a final score and a point spread. Playoffs and preseason games are not included.
- Each game's point spread and final score, as recorded for that game.
- A team's record is counted from that team's own point of view: home and away, favorite and underdog.
How ATS is calculated
- Cover margin = the team's winning margin minus the spread it had to beat. A positive cover margin is a cover; negative is a non-cover.
- Example: a 3-point underdog (+3) that loses by 2 has a cover margin of +1, so it covers. A 3-point favorite (-3) that wins by 3 lands exactly on the spread, which is a push.
- Pushes are shown in records (for example 9-8-1) and left out of cover percentages. Cover % = covers divided by covers plus non-covers.
- A game with no spread (a pick'em) has no favorite or underdog and is left out of favorite and underdog splits.
How over/under is calculated
- A game goes over if the two teams' combined score is higher than the posted total, under if lower, and is a push if equal. Records read over-under-push.
- Over % excludes pushes. Weather splits use the game-time temperature and wind recorded for outdoor games only.
Definitions used on the stats pages
- Thursday, Monday and Sunday night games: Thursday games starting at 7:00 PM ET or later, all Monday games, and Sunday games starting at 7:00 PM ET or later.
- Teams off a bye: 13 or more days of rest before the game (Week 1 excluded). Short rest: 5 days or fewer.
- Division games: both teams in the same division. Big spreads: 7 or more points, or 10 or more where labeled.
Spreads and corrections
- Spreads come from a single recorded line for each game. If we find a recorded line that differs from the market at the time, we correct it and use the corrected number everywhere on the site, including the Track Record.
- The date under each page's headline is when its numbers were last refreshed. Numbers refresh with the site's daily update during the season.
- Found something wrong? Email help@trifectapicks.com with the page and the game and we will look at it.
